Our restaurant offers great burgers, breakfast sandwiches, and fantastic sandwiches you won't find anywhere else. We make our sauces and coleslaw right here on the premises and get our ingredients from a butcher and a produce store located within 3 blocks of the restaurant.
The Genesis of Our Restaurant
Owner and founder Bill Gill started working as a dishwasher in his parents' restaurant. During this time, he learned to cook and made his first full course meal when he was 10 years old for about 40 people. When he grew up, he cooked while serving in the Marines.
When Bill left the service, he worked at Who's on Third, a restaurant owned by his brother that was dedicated to baseball memorabilia and Abbott & Costello. After dealing with some tough family issues, he eventually decided to start this restaurant to offer the great recipes he learned from his mother.
